Gypsy Palace Cottage

As far as royal residences go, the Gypsy Palace is no Buckingham or Holyrood, yet it is steeped in the most colourful history. Nestled in the beautiful conservation village of Kirk Yetholm, at the foot of Staerough Hill, Gypsy Palace is situated on the very end of the Pennine Way on what is now known as the High Street - though a quieter high street could not be found.

Children are welcome and a travel cot and high chair are available on request. Linen is included and consists of all bedding, bath and hand towels and tea towels. The cottage has full central heating and this, along with all electricity, is included. The first basket of logs for the log burning stove are also provided. Pets are welcome to holiday at Gypsy Palace with you.

The Palace has been lovingly restored and rebuilt over a period of two years resulting in its present splendid specifications. The whole atmosphere at Gypsy Palace is one of peace and tranquility and your stay at this historic cottage will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
