The Cottage - Garden

The garden is mainly laid to lawn but has the benefit of a beautifully laid out stone patio area complete with cast iron ‘al fresco’ dining table and chairs. Within the garden there is an ancient gnarled apple tree and the most important tree in Scotland, the Rowan – said to ward off evil spirits. Herbs abound with Thyme, Rosemary and Sage in abundance. The garden is enclosed by a traditional Victorian wrought iron fence. The Lodge (our small lockable outhouse) is a handy storage area and contains bicycles for your use. There is off-street parking for one car.
